  • How do I get to Millie Mae's Pantry?
    Firstly, you need to get yourself to Kangaroo Island via SeaLink ferry. We are walking distance from the ferry terminal! Or there are planes travelling to KI daily which get you to our airport near Kingscote. Bus services run twice daily also.
  • What does Millie Mae's Pantry sell?
    Millie Mae's Pantry prides ourselves on selling as much locally made and grown produce as we can get our hands on! Local honey, olive oils, jams, chutney, and sauces. Gifts from local makers and artists provide a diverse range from all over the island. We also sell fantastic coffee, glasses of local wine, beer & gin, with light meals in our garden or on our cosy deck.
  • Is Millie Mae's Pantry accessible?
    Yes! We have easy access with a fully compliant ramp onto our deck area, with wide paths through the garden. Our toilet facility is also created with handrails & is also accessible. If you need assistance, please feel free to ask our staff and we’ll do our best to accommodate any needs you have.
  • Can I make a booking at Millie Mae's Pantry?
    No, you are always welcome to walk in though and we have many table arrangements whether you’re looking for shade from the sun or shelter from the wind. Our menu is available for dine in or takeaway.
  • Is it ok for our dog to come to Millie Mae's Pantry with us?
    Absolutely! We’ve had dogs, cats, lizards, kangaroos & once some lambs come to visit us. Your pet needs to be on a lead though & can sit anywhere in the garden with you. We are very pet friendly & even have a dog menu. :) All are welcome at Millie Mae's Pantry.
  • Does Millie Mae's Pantry cater for people with dietary requirements?
    Our kitchen processes items which contain nuts, sesame, eggs, wheat & dairy so we cannot promise that there will be no cross contamination, however we do our best to make sure that we cater to your requirements. Please let us know when ordering if you have an allergy or are coeliac. We always have options on the menu which you can checkout via our website link, and they will be marked with DF, GF, Vegan, Vegetarian etc, where appropriate.
  • Can we order catering for an event?
    Absolutely! We love being involved in your special moments, whether it’s a wedding breakfast, a picnic, or a birthday. We ask that you give us a weeks’ notice so we can prepare everything on time.
  • Can you make me a cake?
    Of course. Whether you’d like a full-sized cake of one of the ones you’ve tried from our display case or a fully custom cake, we cater for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day or just because.
